Last Friday, June 14, 2013 Greenwich hosted a Bloggers blow-out to launch their latest pizzas. It was a night of food, raffle and fun. Greenwich launched their 2 new Pizzas & Lasagna Supreme. The two new pizzas are the Ultimate Filipino’s fave pizza the Ultimate Hawaiian Pizza & Ultimate Special Overload. Its our last stop on our first day of the DFAT (Davao Food Appreciation Tour). Whenever I thnink of having a house party or dining out with friends, I would think of having pizza, pasta n chicken. I always love the combination of pasta, pizza & chicken, its a simple yet complete meal for me.
Everyone really cant get enough of the Ultimate Hawaiian Overload, another Greenwich offering to make pizza lovers crave for more. With the Hawaiian Overload which has two kinds of cheese — Mozzarella and Cheddar, glazed pineapples, and two types of meat– ham & bacon. Crisp on the outside yet soft and chewy on the inside crust that is freshly made everyday in all Greenwich stores. The pizza innovations from Greenwich definitely satisfies Filipinos craving for an overload of Hawaiian pizza goodness. One can savor the blend of the juicy and sweet taste of glazed pineapples, and other delightful toppings of the Ultimate Hawaiian Overload.
The Ultimate Special Overload has been a personal favorite of mine whenever we would order pizza on Greenwich. “It tops the list of Greenwich pizzas”, says Lulu De Castro, Greenwich Senior Marketing Manager. It has practically everything a pizza any pizza lover can ask for.” It takes one to an all-new gastronomic journey. It prides itself as the most loaded pizza in the market today, giving pizza lovers the ultimate fix that spells richness down to the last bite. It has 13 mouth-watering toppings loaded to perfection. The experience begins with slices of beef, bacon, pepperoni and salami, with sprinkles of veggies which also includes mushroom, olives, red and green bell pepper, onion and minced garlic. Filling and priced reasonably, its the ideal centerpiece in fun barkada gatherings.
Lastly, the Greenwich Lasagna Supreme is now loaded with even more mouth-watering goodness. One can hardly wait to dig in and savor this pasta perfection. This best-selling pasta now with thicker noodles, chunkier meat sauce complemented by three types of cheese and topped with rich and creamy white sauce. Served with a piece of Garlic Stix. Its one of my favorite lasagna resto,
I would like to thank Greenwich for the Bloggers Pizza Blow-out. Really had fun being with bloggers and enjoying my favorite food.
Yesterday was the Davao Bloggers acquaintance party which was held at the Royal House along Claveria street. It was also the induction of the officers for this year. It was my first time to attend the induction though I have met some of the bloggers thru the events I have attended a few months ago.Counselor Mabel Sunga Acosta was our speaker during the event. I was one of the new bloggers since I just started a few months ago. It was a simple yet fun event. There was the usual Quiz night which was done by group, raffles and induction of the new bloggers.
I was hesitant to speak in front of a lot of people to introduce myself and my blog site since eventhough I love talking it was kind of awkward to speak in front of everyone which I barely know. It still got me thinking that even though I might be talkative around a different crowd, I sometimes am shy. I think I still have to improve myself by practicing to talk in front of a group of people to develop this skill.
Anyway, the event got me inspired to keep blogging since there were times that I get uninspired and lazy to post blogs. But this time I’m thinking of updating my blogs a few times more in a month for it gives me the freedom to speak out what I want to share to the blogging world.
The event was really fun. Got to meet more new people around Davao and around the Blogging world.
It was last December that we had our group Christmas dinner, after dinner we wanted to take pictures at Mana Davao but there were too many people there that we decided to just had coffee. Decided to visit Caffe Firenzo for our coffee fix that night. We just found out that they also serve some finger foods aside from pastries and gelato’s. We ordered a plate of their Nacho’s. I really love their Nachos Supreme. Its is compose of Corn chips, ground meat, tomatoes, olives and some veggies. Our group usually hang-out at Caffe Firenzo to avail of their nachos. We also love their thin crust pizza and their Buffalo Wings. With a good company and nice ambience. We frequently visit Caffe Firenzo.
As I was looking back about how my 2011 was today, I had suddenly thought of how thankful I should be, what to improve, what I had learned and what dreams has I realized this year. It might be something common, none sense or whatever you might think of. But I just want to share it with everyone.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! 😀
Back in high school where the honor students are the popular ones in the batch, I was silent, sitting on the side and just talks with my group of friends. Whenever we have group assignments or projects with other classmates, I had a hard time speaking up on my idea on how its done or what should be done. I was being bullied by some of them. I was too afraid to speak up, thinking that if I did, I might get embarrassed if something would go wrong in it. Only the popular people are entitled to speaking their minds out. When I went to Manila for college, it was then that I had slowly came out of my shell. I had learned to fight for my right and speak up for what I know is right. One reason why sometimes I keep silent instead of speaking my mind is that I hate to argue with people. I hate the fact that I have to fight for something that everyone knows but most refuse to accept. I usually am silent, just observing and hearing people’s ideas, I only speak when I am entitled to most of the time. But with the years of experience in dealing with different people from work, family, friends and clients, I am learning to always speak out and be heard, especially if I know im on the right side of the situation. I have enumerated some reasons why we should speak up:
Speaking up can:
1. show people that you are not dumb.
2. everyone benefits from it- from those who are afraid to those who wants to, u are giving them an inspiration to do so.
3. people get to learn something from what you say.
4. u get to share life experiences- Since not everyone will be experiencing what you are experiencing.. its nice to share some to people
5. speaking up means that you have the right to express your side
6. you get to fight for something you beleive in- People’s respect for you would be higher especially if they know you are right.
7. You get to know yourself more if u speak ur mind and people around you will discover something new from you if u do so.
8. As you grow older, you get to meet more difficult people, its a good practice to speak ur mind in order for those difficult people to know that you can handle them well
9. It makes u a stronger person if you can express yourself well to others.
10. Its simply ur right to speak up and be heard.
Don’t be afraid to speak and fight for what is right!! Remember that there are no right or wrong ideas, (except if its something really bad).
Last Dec 09, 2011, Me and my friends had our usual girls nyt out, went food tripping again at The Peak for a change since we usually would spend our night outs dining at the restos around Abreeza Mall or anywhere around the City. A few days back I had read that Chicken Charlie will be opening on Dec 08, 2011. Since it was a day after the opening, we decided to drop by after our dinner for just a quick food trip. Chicken Charlie has several branches around Metro Manila, the store was also featured on Entreprenuer Magazine as one of the Food Trends that rocked 2011. Their chicken is somehow the local version of the famous Bon Chon Chicken which is popular in Korea. The prices for their chicken is just a bit lower than the price of Bon Chon. The difference of ordinary fried chiken and the chicken from Charlies is that in frying their chicken..they included the dip in frying the chicken. There are two sauces of chicken that is available which are the Soy Garlic and Hot Sweet Sauce. We ordered the 8 pcs drumsticks since its my fave part of the chicken. We had both the Soy Garlic and Hot Sweet Sauce. I tasted the Hot Sweet sauce first and liked it better than the soy garlic. They also have other side dishes to choose from. The service was quick. But the chicken was cooked at around 10-15 mins. I will surely visit them again soon, but this time with my family.
Here are what we ordered:
8 pcs Drumstick – we ordered 4 pcs Spicy & 4 pcs Soy Garlic
Charlies Bowl – chicken rice toppings w/ rice
*Chicken Charlie is located at 4th flr. The Peak, Gaisano Mall of Davao..

Its been almost a month since we noticed that tarp hanging outside Gaisano Mall that Don Beppe is open. I remember one time we went to visit The Peak at the 4th floor of Gaisano Mall, just to check if Don Beppe is open. It was just a week ago, I saw the post of Davao Bloggers people dined at Don Beppe that I told my family that it was open. We were not fond of eating Italian food since my parents prefer chinese food usually. It was just last week that we paid Don Beppe a visit at the Peak. It was actually my 2nd time there, but it was my 1st time to be there with my family. Upon entering the resto, I like the look of its simple interiors, the place was well-lighted. It was like entering a resto at Greenbelt, a very classy yet simple place. We were too excited to taste everything that I forgot to take pix of some of our orders.. Here are wat we ordered:
– was really good..the toppings were so tasty.. we love this pizza 🙂
– I think we ordered the veggie calzone something..because when we ate this.. there where more veggies inside.. 🙂
Grilled Chicken w/ Mashed Potatoes
.. it may look dry..but its flavorful in every bite.
Some of the food we ordered that are not on the pictures are the Mushroom Soup – their mushroom soup is really good! and their Clam Soup in tomatoes are also good..a bit tangy but for people who loves something sour, its a good choice. As for the pasta, we ordered the Marinara and the Vongole. We were too hungry to take pictures of the food.
I would highly recommend Don Beppe. Though a bit pricey, with its good quality food and good service. I would definitely pay them more visits soon 🙂
After taking a long vacation mid-October and attending a church conference in Legaspi. We had an extra day to explore Legaspi, we decided to drop-by a quaint place that was popular for their Bicolano food with a twist. It was a rainy saturday night, we arrived at the place at around past 7pm. They have a few choices in the menu. We wanted to order their famous Bicol Express but sadly it was out of stock that night. so we opted to order other foods that are offered in their menu. So far the Tinomok was quite an interesting dish for me, before trying to taste it I was thinking that the dish had liver mixed on it. but thankfully there isn’t since its ingredients are more of the seafood side :).
Here are what we ordered:
Tinomok -a nice blend of taro leaves, chili, meat from pork, dried fish and alamang w/ coconut milk wrapped in gabi leaves and tied securely with coconut leaf.
Tuna and Tomato Pasta.
We enjoyed our dinner here and would still want to visit this resto on our next Legaspi trip.
After attending Sunday service at CCF St. Francis, my friends and I decided to have lunch and tried Amici. An Italian resto at Megamall. Here are some of the food we had ordered for lunch..
Here are what we ordered:
All the pastas we ordered where good, the pizza was also good but id prefer a pizza thats all meat. 🙂 I’d rate the resto 3/5 in terms of food, price and service. 🙂
